Robert Schaffer, from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, is a photographer and writer whose images have appeared in Time Out and the Japanese edition of Cosmopolitan. His photos have been used on CDs for Gamelan Son of Lion, DownTown Ensemble, Larry Simon, Linda Dunn, and others.
