UPDATE: March 15, 2020

Due to the cancellation of the Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association Annual Conference, all UPM travel has now been suspended through the end of April.

University Press of Mississippi (UPM) has been monitoring the rapid spread of COVID-19. Like many of you, we have been considering the safety of our staff and their families and weighing our options going forward.

In the interest of staff health and safety, UPM has decided to cancel all travel until April 15, 2020. Our offices remain open, though we will take cues from the Mississippi State Department of Health and the Institutions of Higher Learning and will take further steps, if necessary. We will assess travel for the latter half of April and May on an ongoing basis.

Signings and other events will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and if cancelled, our website and social media will be updated as soon as possible.

Business will continue, and we will keep you informed.

In the coming days, we will be holding virtual sales for each of these conferences. We will also be looking for other ways to engage and connect with everyone we would normally see in person, so keep an eye on our social media channels for updates.
