Joseph M. Murphy

Joseph M. Murphy is the Paul J. and Chandler M. Tagliabue Distinguished Professor in Interfaith Studies and Dialogue at Georgetown University. He is author of many works on religion including Santería: An African Religion in America; Working the Spirit: Ceremonies of the African Diaspora; and Òsun across the Waters: A Yoruba Goddess in Africa and the Americas, coedited with Mei-Mei Sanford.
