Frank E. Everett, Jr. (1910–1986) devoted much of his efforts to historical research and writings. He was a trustee for the Mississippi Department of Archives and History and author of Vicksburg Lawyers Prior to the Civil War, Federal Judges in Mississippi, and Jefferson Davis.
